Senecio articulatis aka candle plant is a deciduous plant native to South Africa, this unique plant gets its name from its appearance of "having joints" where the stem segments connect. Gray-green stems with darker green markings grow up to 4" tall and produce lobe-like leaves that turn purplish when stressed. These succulents are summer dormant and will lose their leaves as they move into dormancy. Small white flowers bloom in winter. This is for one group of plants growing in a 4" inch container shipped bare root. All of our plants are grown in the beautiful Temecula Valley in sunny Southern California, and we ship within the United States.
