Sedum adolphii, commonly known as "Golden Sedum" or "Golden Glow," is a popular and attractive succulent plant known for its bright and vibrant foliage.
Sedum adolphii features rosettes of fleshy, oblong leaves that are typically green with yellow or golden edges. The leaves have a glossy appearance and can take on shades of orange or red when exposed to stress, such as increased sunlight or cooler temperatures.
The plant's low-growing, spreading habit makes it suitable for ground cover or container gardens. When provided with proper care, it can produce small, star-shaped yellow flowers in the spring.
This succulent thrives in bright, indirect sunlight to partial sun. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, but avoid intense, scorching rays, especially during the hottest part of the day.
Sedum adolphii is a delightful succulent that's appreciated for its colorful and low-maintenance nature. Whether grown indoors or outdoors, it can be a charming addition to your collection of succulents and is often used in succulent arrangements and rock gardens.
