Melocactus matanzanus is one of the smallest and most popular species that produce its cephalium (the structure, where the flower buds will form) and flower when quite young. This cactus is native to the coastal scrublands of Northern Cuba.
This is for one plant growing in a 8" inch container shipped bare root. All of our plants are grown in the beautiful Temecula Valley in sunny Southern California, and we ship within the United States. Shipping is done Monday thru Friday. Heat packs are available at $3 each and they add a half pound to shipping weight.
