Melocactus diersianus is a cactus native to Brazil. Melocactus diersianus can grow to be up to nine inches tall and six inches across. During the spring and summer this cactus blooms red and deep magenta flowers. It grows a white wooly cephalium with red highlights. Melocactus diersianus is winter dormant and is not fond of the cold.
This is for one plant growing in a 5" inch container shipped bare root. All of our plants are grown in the beautiful Temecula Valley in sunny Southern California, and we ship within the United States. Shipping is done Monday thru Friday. Heat packs are available at $3 each and they add a half pound to shipping weight.
